Madden NFL 09 is On Shelves Now! Important Video Inside!

Hey, I don't know if you knew this or not, but Madden NFL 09 is out today. This video, sent to me by Vinny, who is a guy who sits behind me in this office I'm in, sums up the level of office excitement pretty well, I think.

Wait, so you are excited? Or you aren't? I don't udnerstand American football humour. Or should I say humor? It's all so confusing!

I assume that there's some technical glitch, and thats why the live coverage, marathon playing sessions, and in depth analysis is not on the site.    

The Madden hating makes me feel icky inside.

That was... odd, to say the least.

Meh, football is boring to me, and a game about football is more boring. And a game about football where they come out with the exact same game every year just to make lots of money is really lame. imo.

Saying Madden is the same exact game every year is like saying Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3 are the exact same game. What's the difference, it's the same FPS gameplay, and Halo 3 had the same damn enemies, so you can't even say it's a "roster update".

Haha, nice video. I'm sure the level of office excitement there is about the equivalent of my excitement.

Madden NFL...the series which epitomizes the concept of Deja Vu All Over Again...and again and again and again...

If they ever add sooo much new content in a madden one game(which may be possible if they ever did 2 year cycles, but won't because they want money) I can see fans of the game being happy another one is coming out... but I just don't understand everytime a new madden comes out there are like like "OMG IM SO EXCITED MADDEN IS COMING OUT THIS WEEK, DAMN I CAN'T WAIT!" as if they are going to experience something totally different from any other version they were playing... I'll just never understand it...not bashing the game or anyone who is actually like that, I just don't understand.

wow, i cant believe someone compared Madden to Halo, for one thing even if I agree that sequels repeat Madden has done it 20 TIMES!!!!!!!!!. At least Halo is AMERICAN because they face competition as they should in a CAPITALISTIC society, meanwhile Madden faces no competition and therefore has no reason to prove anything, I dont blame EA on this I blame the NFL.

I don't think I want the game now.

I just crapped myself from all of the excitement.

I'm celebrating Maddenoliday tomorrow. That's right, I'm taking a day off to play Madden. Well, there's other things to do, but lots of Madden will be played. lol

Stocking those games on shelves yesterday was brutal.

That woman is incredibly obese and no one seems to notice, if someone like that got on any stage in the UK (well maybe not Scotland) everyone in the crowd would be really freaked out.

Funny video.  I don't really care one bit though for sport console games.  Never bought one and I say I never will.
