Achievements Most Wanted 7/25 - 7-31

Well, if I learned one thing from this week's lists, it's that if you aren't super-specific in your game's achievement descriptions, people will turn to the Internet to look them up and figure out what they need to do. That's, along with the overall quality of the game, of course, is probably why 'Splosion Man has dominated this week's rankings, taking both the overall spot for game-level lists and over half of the list of individual achievements.

The weekend is here once again, which means it's time for me to ask you what the heck you're going to do for the next couple of days. Playing games? I'll probably dig into Fat Princess on the PS3, but a crazy new feature idea that Dave is working on is making me start to sweat achievements again. It's like he's trying to kill me or something. You'll have to wait and see how that goes. Let's get to the lists.

Mostly foreign releases of domestic games here, but hey, there's the list for the upcoming G.I. Joe game, too. That's due out next week. Man, that movie looks awful, but I feel drawn to it in a way that the Transformers movie never accomplished. It's probably because I've never quite gotten over The Baroness. Anyone interested in seeing it?

Yep, it's all 'Splosion Man, all the time around here. Interesting to see Gears of War 2 surfacing in the list, too. That's there because new achievements were added to go along with the Dark Corners map pack, which was released earlier this week.

Any predictions for next week? Think G.I. Joe will make a dent once it's released and people start getting all points-crazy with it?
