    First appearing in The Journeyman Project 2, Arthur is discovered by Gage Blackwood on derelict asteroid miner in deep space. Created by Dr. Kenneth Farnstein, Arthur is prevalent for much of Buried in Time and nearly all of its sequel, Legacy of Time. Arthur's functions are multi-faceted; he provides comic relief, historical information, puzzle hints, and various forms of commentary. Players who preferred the solitary aspects of the first game have the option of silencing Arthur to varying degrees ranging from disabling his hints to turning him off completely.
