    Overview

    Alpine Racer 2 is a skiing game developed and published by Namco for the arcade platform. Instead of a typical joystick and buttons for control the player would stand on a board which was meant to simulate using real skis.

    Gameplay

    The gameplay mechanics of Alpine Racer 2 consist of the player physically standing on the machine and moving back and forth, simulating skiing.

    There are three different game mode types that can be selected:

    • Racing
    • Free Skiing
    • Mogul

    In the racing mode there are also two different sub selections which are: Speed Racing and Gate Racing.
