Even a trial dosent make me want to play this game. Nothing to do with the game but the MMO genre in general. Personally I find trials dont really work with MMO since its such a short time. Even with the 30 days from purchasing an MMO I generally dont get far enough to differentiate it from other MMO's or get invested in it. Plus for most MMO's (except Everquest wierdly) you have to download the entire game to try it which for most "modern" recent MMO's (except Eve Online I think) is 3gb's plus which for me is unacceptable since i can download at a max of 120kb/s and theres people with worse connections. Especially since I tried to start Star Wars Galaxies and my trail ended before I downed it :| Had to make another account to try it out for a few hours and realise I didnt like it.

They improved it so much since launch.

WoW has most of my spare time so idk. I might try it out on my day off though.

I tried AoC like a month ago and I still couldn't get into it. I had fun for like a week and then I was done. There still seems to be a lack of endgame to me.

So, I'm getting the trial now. I thought that the hour of waiting for the downloads was a-okay.

But now I have to wait ten hours until I can play the damn game? Holy living shit. Maybe I should leave my computer on overnight or something.

Anyone have any recommendations for people just starting? Also, can you re-download the trial again/multiple times? DO you have to wait the 11 or so hours, if so?

If it was free to play then I would buy that game easily.
