    Overview

Action Forms original first person shooter, Chasm: The Rift was released in 1997 for "mouse and keyboard". The developers later went on to make the Carnivores series. Said franchise has four installments so far, three of the first Carnivores games was developed by Action Form. The fourth was made by Sunstorm Interactive.

In 2001, Action Forms announced Duke Nukem: Endangered Species. It was to be a hunting game (somewhat similar to the Carnivores games) where the players could hunt everything from dinosaurs to snakes. The game was supposed to use an improved version of the engine used in the carnivore series, but the whole project got canceled when Action Forms decided to start working on their own new project -- Vivisector. Vivisector: Beast inside was released in 2005, Action Forms started working on the unique, uncanny and slow-paced first person shooter Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason. After Cryostasis, Action Forms went dormant. In the summer of 2009 some members of Action Forms went on to form Tatem Games, which released iOS ports of Carnivores 2 and Carnivores: Ice Age before moving onto original games oriented towards the iOS platform.
