Abraham Washington is the 45-year-old president and curator of the Capital Preservation Society in Rivet City. A traditional social outcast, Washington spends most of his time secluded in his museum examining the various curios surviving from before the Great War.

    Fallout 3

The Vault 101 Dweller can be tasked by Washington with recovering the Declaration of Independence from the National Archives. Upon reaching the rotunda of the archives, the player will encounter Sydney, a mercenary who was also sent by Washington to recover the declaration. After fighting off several waves of super mutants, the pair can journey into the secure wing via private elevator.

The declaration is guarded by a Protectron believing himself to be the real Button Gwinnett, a real signer of the declaration. By either reasoning with or destroying the robot, the player can access a safe that contains the Declaration of Independence and either give it to Washington or sell it to the highest bidder.
