Hey dudes! First-person cyborg ninja wallrunning and hacknslashing with time-slow. Out tomorrow.

Demo is on Steam but I was waiting for reviews to come in, and they seem pretty positive! My main worry was how much there would be (and obviously if what there is is good too), and the RPS review mentions a ~6 hour campaign (apparently inspired by Titanfall 2's whole "so what's new in this level" thing, which was great).

Anywho, anyone gonna give it a go? I think I might. :)

I'm definitely going to try and give it a whirl. I could've sworn I streamed some of it at some point near the beginning of lockdown but I can't remember?

I tried the demo during the steam summer event and was hooked. Mirror's Edge got me into first-person platforming and this seems like a better one of those.

I kind of thought this would evolve to be a bit more narrative focused rather than these levels that seem more like time trials where one error makes you reset the entire sequence. It definitely has a look that is very cool just not sure if my reflexes are up for it.

If it's anything like Titanfall 2, I'll definitely try it out

I played the demo and liked it enough to buy the game, i know i'll get frustrated when it goes overboard on dodging projectiles but we'll see.

A lot of people seem to like this, but I played some last night and found it incredibly frustrating.

When everything comes together, it can feel pretty cool, but more often than not I'm repeating the same short scenario over and over again because the mechanics aren't quite tight enough to handle the level design.

I want to...but what if it comes to GamePass/goes on sale? There's too many reasons to wait for me to buy it now, but it's definitely going on the wishlist.

Has anyone played this on a console yet? It seems way too fast paced to be enjoyable with a controller but then again Titanfall 2 worked quite well so I have hope it controls well.

Im playing it about 3 hours in and enjoying it, I'm running through it VERY quickly, I rarely stop.

What I like about it is the meatboy type INSTANT restarts, the very fast and unforgiving gameplay and small sections to repeat until you nail it.

But I will say I am playing Mouse and Keyboard, and it feels like THAT kind of game its very fast and I couldn't imagine playing it on controller ( I have no problem playing shooters on controller, I completed Doom Eternal on controller and loved it)

Beating it took around 6 hours, but it didn't feel brief at all (been playing since launch, so I really spaced out my sessions). Great little video-game.

Always felt challenging but fair, and whenever a room seemed daunting, I'd dive in and quickly realize how very doable they are. It never quite got to the level of feeling like a bunch of busy-work. Except for once, but then I just kinda cheesed the wallrun to avoid the part that was giving me trouble lol.

Combat's great. Kinda wish there was a mode that just threw enemies at you and let you go nuts, but that's always the sort of thing I think I want when really, the crafted encounters are far more enjoyable (here's lookin at you SUPERHOT).

If you're looking for fps gameplay that tbh is exactly what it looks like (fast, wallrunny, and all about dodging/parrying), then this is an extremely solid option. Great levels, great combat, good feeling movement, and let's just say a story. Had a few little surprises with the story, but you're probably gonna keep goin because the gameplay's great, not because you particularly care about that world or anything. It's serviceable.

But yeah, if this seems appealing to you at all, definitely check it out!
