Happy 24th birthday to George Russell! (Lewis Hamilton's new team mate for 2022)

Dear motorsport fans

I hope this Formula 1 racer will perform so well for the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team in the 2022 season as he had great performance for his previous team Williams Racing (Raced for them from 2019 to 2021) while Alex Albon takes over his former position.

It will be interesting to see what he can do driving an actual F1 car in 2022-2023.

I am really curious about him, he has such a professional, calm and collected image but then for a brief moment (Imola 2021) we saw a window into a different side of him. I mean, he caused a very dangerous crash, took it out on dazed Bottas, doubled down later and to top it all off he never really apologised. It supports my expert theory that he is secretly an evil mastermind intent on taking over the (F1) by any means necessary. I hope it is so at least, it would be so much fun to have a villain at the front!

@bitbat: I don't know how secret it is. He's always come across as a giant conceited asshat to me. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing. You need to be a giant conceited asshat to thrive in F1. Hamilton actually being a decent human being is only a recent revelation. Besides maybe Rosberg, Button, and Kimi every champion they've had in the past 20 years has been a pretty garbage human being.

Giant Bomb's had a few dealings with F1 and open-wheel racing, it's not THAT odd.

Hope that he can and will thrive there. As hope he has such a great and happy birthday there as well!
