Favourite Movie Based Off of a Video Game

For me it would probably be Hitman or Postal.

Mortal Kombat 1

somewhat cheesy, but fun to watch, and I love how many characters they through in from the games

Hitman made a great movie with Timothy Olyphant.

Probably Silent Hill.

I always thought the Resident Evil movies were decent.

Pretty much all of them suck. I watched Silent Hill the other day, and I wish I hadn't. Interested to see how the BioShock movie turns out though, because that could either be totally awesome or an utter trainwreck.

Hulk partial to cheese fest known as Double Dragon.  Hulk wish Alyssa MIlano not have short hair in it.  Hulk also like how the Mario brothers say "It's a ba ba ba bomb!" in Mario movie.  Videogame movies not so good.  Game publishers hire hack director Uwe Boll too much.  Hulk SMASH Uwe Boll!  Ang Lee at worst better than Uwe Boll at best.

I haven't seen many, but the first RE one was at least entertaining

Yeah, Boll is a pretty bad director but he did pull off a nice job for Postal.

Sadly Tomb Raider is the best one. It's at least functional as a movie.

I'll go with the Resident Evil films.

The two that I thought were slightly less awful were the first Resident Evil and Silent Hill (Come on, witch burnings? Seriously?)

The really old live action Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Nothing. I have yet to watch a video game-based movie that I would say more than "meh" to.

Angelie Jolie's sideboob stole the show.

I thought the first Tomb Raider film was quite good.
