Overview
Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2 is a turn-based 4X strategy game developed by Firaxis and published by 2K Games for iOS devices on July 2, 2014 and for Android devices on November 7, 2014.
It is a sequel to the mobile version of Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution, adding a variety of new units and technologies, as well as new alternate leaders for some civilizations (namely John F. Kennedy for the Americans and Winston Churchill for the English). Further post-release updates added more units, technologies, and leaders, as well as one new civilization: the Koreans.
The game later received an enhanced port to the PlayStation Vita, where it was renamed to Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2 Plus (or, in Japan, Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2+). It was first released in Japan and Asia, in both retail and digital formats, on December 3, 2015, with a worldwide digital release on March 29, 2016. This version features additional units and scenarios, as well as three new leaders that replace Tokugawa Ieyasu: Himiko, Oda Nobunaga, and Tōgō Heihachirō.
