A lot of the classic SEGA arcade games were released long before I started my gaming journey. I was super late to playing these games (Outrun, After Burner etc.), but even today I recognize how amazing these soundtracks still sound. I haven't even heard about Super Hang-On before I played it in Yakuza 0. I can't say for sure, what is it about these games, but they all have music that hit straight to my core.

Anyway, I stumbled upon this gem while listening to old game OSTs on Youtube. Look at these uncles rock the fuck out!

At least in the US, I do think the quality of SEGA's output in the 1980s, particularly in arcades, can be somewhat underappreciated. But 'ey, thankfully it's easier than ever before to catch-up on great older games and their rockin' soundtracks.
