I just grabbed XCOM: EU on PSN since it was on sale for $8 (PAL sale). Upon downloading/installing the game, I got as far as the 2K logo before the game would hard lock my system and it would need to be reset.
I redownloaded the game and this time could get to the title screen, but after a few seconds the title screen would start to flicker black several times a second, and freeze upon starting a new game. Redownloading again left me with this same issue. I've googled around a bit but haven't really found any solutions. Restoring my PS3's file system via the safe mode menu didn't help either.

Anyone else have this issue? Is the PS3 version just broken? I have it the game on Steam, too, as I'm sure everyone in the known universe does, but my macbook doesn't run it well enough for it to be playable, so I'd really like this console version to function!
