Dear Wii.

How are you doing? It has been a while since we last spoke and I am writing to you to apologise for the distance I have put between us over the years, I know we haven't always been on the best of terms and I cam't say how sorry I am about that Mario Party 9 thing but I really think we should spend more time together. I look at you now sat beside the PS3 and I know that every time I put a PS3 game in or turn it on your looking at me in disgust. I see your blue lights flashing at night and I know your trying to send me a message and I think I get it.

As of now I promise to spend more time with you, I have put in new batteries in to all of my Wii Motes seeing as the others are all flat (Even though I suspect they went flat with no use) and I dusted off my Golden classic controller and even dug out my red wrist strap. I have organised my Wii games in to two piles, uncompleted games and completed games, this only makes me want to spend time with you more since I see the error of my ways. I have had a Wii since you came out, even though you are an updated and flashier version you still have the same soul. The games seem one sided as I have only completed less than 10 games out of my 50 or so games. Over the course of 5 years this really is not right at all.

What I'm trying to say is I am very sorry and I hope that we can start seeing each other again, please get back to me if your willing to give it another go.

I don't even remember which dark corner of this place I left you in, but I hope you're well. That Xenoblade game is out now, and The Last Story too, maybe we'll have to meet up and check them out, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Our relationship ended a long, long time ago, and frankly, it's an old flame I feel no desire to kindle. We had some fun, but let's be honest, the bad times far outweighed the good. Remember Red Steel? The Conduit? Neither do I, but my soul still bears the scars. Me and your old friend SNES have been getting along well lately, she just seems to 'get me', you know? With her, I always know I'm gonna have a good time, which sadly isn't something I could say about you. N64 gave me a call too, we've had some fun but we're taking it slow for now. I was thinking of inviting both of them round at the same time and seeing how it goes, but I won't go into details. As much as it must pain you to hear this, I feel like I have so many better options these days and I just don't care about you the way you care about me.

Good to see you, it's been a while. I got Xenoblade Chronicles over the weekend, and I'm glad I did. (Even though it almost made be break the bank!) You were neglected for a while, but due to the fact that I have nothing to play on my other systems, you'll be garnering my full attention for the foreseeable future. Thanks for standing by and waiting patiently for me to turn you back on after weeks and weeks of neglect. You've been a good and longsuffering system. Dear Wii,

I bought you for my fiancée for her birthday. We enjoyed Super Mario Brothers Wii quite a bit, but otherwise found you pretty lacking (in your defence, Galaxy gave us both motion sickness).

I like your style, and you are fun at parties, but I ultimately don't regret trading you in for 360 slim after our other 360 died horribly on its 3rd rrod.

Hope the Wii-U is less primitive and has more games worth playing!
