I've been making my way through WarioWare DIY for the past week or so, absorbing the tutorials and, now, starting to make my own games. I've quickly come to terms with the notion that my art skills are going to be my downfall. I lack the patience and skill to really sit down and make good-looking characters and animation, so I've either been importing things from other games or making stuff look crappy "on purpose."

This video, taken from the Japanese version of the game, tossed onto YouTube back in February, and sent to me earlier tonight by one Matthew Rorie, makes me wish I was a bit better with my art stylez.

Do an RPG battle microgame, like fighting a Dragon Quest slime, or running from charred Persona 4 baby-monster...things.

Wow...what adds to the creepy factor is Wario laughing maniacally after every minigame.

I don't even know how to respond.  

Oh and my suggestion for a microgame, pac-man eats all of the marios on screen.

You should make Lincoln Force in micro-game form.
  

Just put about three boxes on the level. And have a stickman run across them. You have to tap the screen to make the stickman jump across the gaps between the boxes.

Man, I really wish I had a DSi now. I would get one just for this. Do you think using a DSi XL would make creating games easier? Like, I imagine it'd help getting everything to be pixel perfect.
 
Alright, game ideas. How about a game where you have to rapidly tap to have Dave run from Luchadeer?
 
Or a game where you have to tap at the right moment to have Luchadeer lunge at Dave?
 
Or maybe just tap on everyone on-screen to have them chute out or something.
 
...Yeah, that's all I got.

Damnit, now I'm gonna have Keanu Reeves's voice in my head again for the next three days.
 
Alternate response: I haven't heard Keanu Reeves say " Woah." since that dream I had two nights ago.

I wouldn't waste your time with the WiiWare download, it's a waste of money.

How about clicking the giant bomb logo in time with Jeff, Ryan, Brad, Vinny, and Dave walking across the screen to make their heads blow up?

Draw a dog, or a baby, and make the person have to shoot it in the face. Multiple times if necessary.
