I had a blast watching this live with my brother and sister. It convinced us to dig up our old NES and SNES and play through a bunch of classic games again. So much Mario, Kirby, and Duck Hunt going on in my house right now.

Whew, I was terrified that I had missed this and it wouldn't be archived.

This was super fun, glad I can catch some of the earlier stuff I missed.

I watched everything but the first hour or so. Time to catch up!

As someone who downloads everything, thank you guys for breaking it into parts. 2.2GB is a lot more reasonable for a single download than, what, 5, 6 gigs...?

When I first played Super Metroid, I got caught at that same bridge Brad couldn't get past. I didn't know there was actually a "run" button outside the Speed Booster. When I figured that out I was so pissed at everything.

Then Super Metroid was a fucking awesome game so it's just part of the experience. Anyone else get stuck at that point way back in the day?

Thank you so much for archiving these. I can't stress enough how much I want to see EVERYTHING archived because having a job with fluctuating hours makes being available during livestreams nearly impossible. Also, these tend to be long, and even assuming I was watching one live, chances are I'd need to leave part way through for one reason or another. Hell, it's nice watching them archived even for the sole reason of having a pause function.

Please please please continue to do this. I promise I will continue to subscribe!

I love you guys for uploading these. As a college student, I can't spend 5-6 hours on a Friday afternoon watching your specials, and getting the chance to watch it again later makes it well worth the $50 I spent on a yearly membership. I will certainly be renewing when the time comes!

I had to leave during Contra III, so I'm glad these are going up.

When I was a kid, I remember looking through a magazine (Nintendo Power maybe?) and admiring the style of Super Metroid. Oddly enough, I never played a Metroid game until Metroid Prime, which I hated the controls for and quit after one hour. I did play quite a bit of all the Mario games. Never played Pilotwings.
