Haven't been to Copenhagen for a few years, still weird to see Dan and Jan there :)

Also those brown fried things both on the burger and the hot dog are fried onions ("ristede løg" in Danish). And Dan's hotdog was a French Hotdog, don't think they have them in France though...

Treat my hometown well! :D

Ah finally, the elusive JanDan combo!

The surprise fate none of us expected for Dan: Travel show host.

The Razor Ryckert intro was too damn cute.

Also, these travelogues are always the best thing.

@inevpatoria: It's hard to pick a favorite thing with something this good, but I did a legit snort laugh over that quote and the way Dan delivered it.

Denmark is famous for its hot dogs, especially that hole-in-a-bun style.

BTW, that fried crunchy stuff is just roast onion. Is that not a common thing in America?

Did the framerate in this video feel weird to anybody else?

@durman667: We call it 'brun sovs' which translates to brown sauce or brown gravy. It's a stable in old school Danish cooking.

Travelogues are some of my fave Giant Bomb stuff, the Iceland one convinced me to take my first solo trip abroad for a week and was an amazing place. Glad to see a comeback, and this one was great too :)

Been far too long since the last Travelogue. Can't wait to watch this later.

@kdr_11k: I mean, it's not impossible to find here, but it's (sadly) not really a hot dog condiment. Raw onion is the typical topping here in my personal experience.

Some real nice cuts in here - all Dan's ideas, I'm sure. Awesome 'logue!

Hot dogs in closed buns and way too much ice-cream is the Danish experience for sure.

The brown sauce you got on your burger is real good with meat, assuming it's the same traditionally served with many meat dinners in Norway, dunno how good it'd be to dunk a burger in but it didn't look like a bad combination.
The brown crispy stuff Jan got are fried onions, a very popular topping for hot dogs in Scandinavia. I assume Jan got some remoulade (type of mayo) on his hot dog too.

Drown that hot dog in toppings!

Dan would surely love all the fab restaurants in copenhagen. Best in class. If you're a meat guy, then this is the city for you.

Drowning a burger in brunsås is something I just have to try.

There are several things in Denmark that are meant to put you off getting a car, like there's some pretty heavy tax on owning a car and the government will even give you some money every year simply for not owning a car. I went to university in Copenhagen for one and a half years and even I got that payout once even though I just lived there.

This was such a treat to watch, as a Copenhagen native. Looking forward to hearing more of your Hitman experiences!

Also I love the comparison to Vegas and other big American cities. This is such a different beast in many ways.

I went to Amsterdam about 18 years ago and I am unsurprised at how much Copenhagen reminds me of that city. Not that it's a 1:1 match, but seeing all those bikes was definitely something I remember seeing a lot of in Amsterdam too.

Obviously, there's a big language difference too.

Also, that hot dog looked delicious.

This was pretty fun, would like to see more in the future!
