    A FPS Must-Have!

Urban Chaos: Riot Response was a helluva good ride. I happened to see it on the rack in a used game store for like $10 and decided to give it a go. Within the first few minutes I was instantly surprised by what this seemingly unknown game had to offer. Not being a huge fan of FPS's I didn't really know what to expect from this game but was actually quite surprised by everything that it has. You play a cop who gets aid from EMT's and Firefighters which is pretty damn cool! EMT's help replenish your life and Firefighters help your break through barricades that your character is ill-equipped to deal with. In addition to the basic run-and-gun FPS element, you help save hostages and trapped civilians which is actually done very well and has to be played to be properly understood.

The A.I. isn't too bad and the graphics are pretty impressive for it's era of gaming. The sound is pretty clean and responsive to what's going on on-screen. The weapons and equipment are all pretty useful and as you progress through the game are pretty neat to use. If you happen to see this game sitting in a shop somewhere it's definitely worth the few bucks for anyone looking for a well carried out FPS.

What I didn't understand at the time was just how much fun the game would be. The first level served as a brief introduction to some of the more basic gameplay elements, easing the player into the format of the game. However, when I first got to pick up the riot shield, and blocked the first bullet, I was hooked. T...
