Overview
Turok 2 was a first-person shooter in the Turok franchise, and a direct sequel to the 2008 reboot. It was again being developed by Propaganda Games and published by Disney Interactive for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Disney announced in 2009 that the sequel had been canceled in the midst of heavy layoffs at Propaganda.
Very little is known about the doomed sequel, other than a few facts.
- Joseph Turok would once again have been the main character.
- Combat would have included the knife and the bow, as before.
- True to the franchise's roots, the gameplay would have mainly consisted of battling dinosaurs in a jungle setting, though it is unclear whether it took place on the same planet as the previous game.
- At least early in its production, the title was simply "Turok 2".
