Overview
The Yakuza Remastered Collection is a collection of the Japanese standalone remasters of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5. These remasters include all of the QOL changes and content alterations made to the Japanese remasters, and this western release redoes the translations of all three games to match the localization found in the other PS4 era games. This collection also restores much of the content cut from the original western release of Yakuza 3 such as a handful of substories, hostess clubs, shogi and mahjong. For the digital release, all three games are being released separately over the course of several months.
A physical version of the collection will release on February 11th along with the digital version of Yakuza 5, containing the three games spread across two discs. The day one edition also contains a physical PS3 case for Yakuza 5, allowing fans to finally complete their physical PS3 collections of the series.
