The Oregon Trail, not to be confused with several other games in the series, is a historical strategy game developed and digitally published by Gameloft for iOS devices on March 11, 2009.

An adaptation of the classic edutainment computer game series of the same name, as well as the first in the series without involvement by The Learning Company and the first released outside of computers, The Oregon Trail remakes most aspects of the original game with cartoon graphics, touchscreen controls, new mini-games, and other new features (such as a quest system). It later received a free-to-play city-builder sequel, known as The Oregon Trail: American Settler.

It later received a digital release for the Nintendo DS on December 28, 2009, as well as high-definition release (sometimes known as The Oregon Trail HD) for Windows Phone 7 devices on November 17, 2010, iOS devices on October 10, 2011, and Android devices on January 28, 2012. It also received releases for several other mobile devices, with the earliest in 2008.
