I caught about the last hour and a half of it, was good fun, lot's of laughs and very romantic. Now I know, come the end of the world, getting semi-naked and snogging some random girl will be just as acceptable as getting my pink bathrobe and holding hands with what sounds like a mexican comedian.

" @theholybible said:" well i hope to god this gets uploaded to the site at some point, being in the UK and all, i'm not gonna get to see this. "Wimp ;) I was up all night for this! Got to the chat at 8pm GMT and left at 9am GMT! "
So you referenced your own time zone by GMT, that tells us nothing. By the way, the UK is in BST right now. Just sayin'.
Will this be put up as a regular video at some point? My sleep cycle has been rather normal recently, and I'd rather not ruin it again by staying up until 1AM. Also, EAST COAST 4 LYFE, YO.
Some people were wondering how to watch it. Just go to their archive and click last broadcast, and keep going back until the start of it, since it will start in the middle of it. Here is the link: www.justin.tv/giantbomb/archive
" @bigall94 said:yeah and technology as a whole really. They don't call it silicon valley for nothing." @damnboyadvance: ditto. I dislike the fact that so much of the game industry centers in California :( "More like all of the entertainment industry. Music, movies, video games, etc. It's all on the west coast. :D "
I fell asleep in the middle of it and woke up at 5am (2am Pacific) slumped over on my laptop to find that the stream ended.
In the end, I look at the matrix as a pretty good set of movies and that's about it.
That was awesome. What midnight brown song was jeff doing? I was feeling it and would like an mp3 version of it.
This was so awesome.
But there was so much Lady Gaga. It was stuck in my head for the rest of the day.
I think doing more things for the users is great, but it just makes me kind of annoyed and frustrated when I miss these live events. I've gotten so used to on-demand and time-shifted TV, not to mention Internet video, that I haven't had to work my schedule around a broadcast for such a long time.
I think doing live events is fine as long as there is always an "any time" archived version available. Perhaps getting the last hour is enough, I don't really know how lively it was so I can't say if I missed anything.
Looking at the numbers of users watching the live stream versus the number of unique users downloading the archived version will probably give you a good idea of the ratio of users potentially left out who were interested in this.

If you go to justin.tv/giantbomb theres an "archive" section with all of the live broadcast. If your saying the ratio of uses who were left out of the live discussion because they didnt attend the live but thats another issue since it was promoted well in advance and told about for weeks.
Sorry if I wasn't very clear, but my comment about missing the live event was more about simply not being able to be there rather than being under-informed. However, with there being an archive of the entire live stream, it doesn't seem like much more of an issue. I don't like the interface design of the Justin.tv archive pages, but at least they're there.
