    Overview

The Flintstones is a platformer based on the 1960s animated show, The Flintstones. The game has Wilma give Fred a series of tasks to complete, including finding her necklace and the missing salt shaker, which takes him across a series of platforming levels armed with only his trusty club.

This adaptation was developed exclusively for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive console by contract developer Santos and publishers Taito; Taito would also go on to publish a separate SNES-exclusive game with the license, The Flintstones: The Treasure of Sierra Madrock, the following year. This game is not to be confused with the 1988 The Flintstones game made by Krisalis/Teque Software for European home computers (which would later receive a Sega Master System port) nor the 1994/1995 The Flintstones game by Ocean Software which was a direct tie-in with the first live-action movie.
