As the poll states, I'm trying to get a feel for which class Giant Bomb prefers, whether you play the 360 or PC version of the beloved shooter. Poll it up, folks!

P.S. If you want to give a little explanation as to your preferred class, I wouldn't be opposed to it.

I generally play as pyro. And quite often the heavy.

Pc version

I use all of them except Demoman. I just can't get a hang of his weapons at all.

I change depending on what my team needs at the moment, but if I have my choice, I play as the Spy.  There seems to be a lack of competent Spy players on the console, and I've definitely got some decent tactics as the Spy.

Sniper, because I suck at every other class that isn't the Engineer.

Not a single vote cast for the Scout or Medic... Interesting.

Playing alot of medic atm (pc), play the pyro aswell.

If we are defending I play a demoman.  If we are attacking I play a Solider. If its a CP map I play a pyro.  If I only played one class I'd get bored pretty quickly.

Sniper/ Soldier/ Demoman/ occasional scout.

Well, since I started this topic, I figured I should contribute, and from my first few hours of playing today, I can confidently say:

"I am heavy weapons guy."

I'll usually fill in what class is needed most, unless it's a scout, which I can't get the hang of, but my favourite two are Sniper and Medic.

I play a triangle of Pyro, Scout, and Sniper (in order of use).

Spy or Sniper (The update was good for me :) ) and a little bit of Heavy, I hate anyone who plays Pyro though, considering it's the easiest class to play in the game. I'm hear to start a flame was (Oh the puns) So yeah, Pyro is the easiest class to play and is the noobiest class. In order to be successful you spam your flamethrower and run away. You only die if it's someone out of reach such as a sniper. You yourself can't get lit on fire and you have a flaregun for dealing with those pesky snipers too >_>. Pyro's need to be nerfed (Flamethrower overheating anyone?)

I play as the spy mostly, though I must admit I have to keep my microphone unpluged from my pc due to the insane language and racial slurs that I emit while playing the class. But even when its frustrating, its still worth dying 2 - 3 times for that perfect kill, especially when it helps your team like when you down a heavy, heavy + medic combo, or an engineer and all of his stuff.

When I get too frustrated though I usually switch to the pyro ( no matter how noobish some people in this forum think ) because there's nothing sweeter than burning a few spies yourself. >:)

I love to play as the Demo and wait for unsuspecting victims to come into range of my stickies. I can't wait for the Demo update but I have a feeling it'll be the last.

I just cannot understand how the demoman works.  Granted I've only played with him for like 2 hours but his weapons seem too hard to use, the only thing I can manage to do with any regularity is blow up idiots who run around a corner into my stickies.  I just cannot use him in a straight fight

I love to play as a medic (a combat medic, can be quite effective against snipers if I do it right ;)) though ill swap to whats needed.

I've loved playing as the Heavy since the beta launched. There's nothing better than grabbing one of your roommates to play a dedicated medic for you and being able to scream at them through the door.

Engineer followed by Pyro.

On the 360 I mainly used the Soldier, but on the pc I've changed to the Heavy. I just love my sandviches.

I love rocket jumping around as a soldier, even if I'm terrible at it. Usually just play whatever the team needs to win, though.

I'm scout for life.  Swooping in and taking out key targets and getting out before the rest of the team notices is extremely fun.  I will sometimes play pyro on defense to counter ubers and protect sentries.

Scout, love the speed and guns of the little guy, his domination clips are also the best.

I play a lot as a pyro and also i like the spy.

A sniper, I love the satisfaction of getting a perfect headshot on an unsuspecting rival. And I have recently been playing as a pyro and a medic a lot too.

I started as Medic and I think I am going stick with it. I love the assist system, makes it very rewarding to heal up dudes and be a good Medic.

I started as a Pyro but now I play as a Medic mostly, dude is surprisingly effective at killing stuff if you arc your shot right.

Usually the Sniper or the Soldier

started with soldier a lot but recently have been leaning towards demo man. it's pretty damn fun raining down fire on bases (engi turret/teleporter/dispenser base that is) and popping nades through small windows hehe.

I really like playing Demoman on defense; otherwise I play whatever I feel like at the moment, or whatever class would be best to get revenge on my nemesis...

Once you get the hang of his grenade launcher, you'll be airshotting scouts all day long.
