    The Taliban is the political group that ruled Afghanistan from 1996 until they were overthrown in 2001 by Coalition Forces. This group publicly protect and trained Al Qaeda, the terrorist group responsible for 9/11 and various attacks in the Middle East and Europe. They are currently in a war against the new Afghan National Army and the ISAF (International Security Assistance Force). The Taliban is led by Mullah Mohammed Omar whom is currently wanted for war crimes. This group utilizes guerrilla tactics and indirect warfare to combat the more advanced foreign forces such as The United States, Britain, and Canada.
