Synetic GmbH is a German company, specialising mainly in racing games. The company was founded in 1996, in a German area called Gütersloh. The company was founded by five ex-employees of Ascaron Entertainment GmbH (Company), and is regarded as being extremely obscure outside their home nation. In contrast, the company is popular in Germany. Originally, Synetic developed their games solely for the PC platform. They changed this in 2003, when Mercedes-Benz Truck Racing was launched on some consoles.
