    A main character in the game Vagrant Story, Sydney is the leader of the Mullenkamp cult. At the outset of the game his followers stage an attack on a castle near the outskirts of the ruined city of Lea Monde. When confronted by the game's protagonist, Ashley Riot, Sydney flees into the ruined city and so the stage is set for the rest of the game, in which Ashley follows Sydney through the crumbling dungeons and streets of Lea Monde.
