Not sure what I was looking at but it said Thetarhythm. I mean, I guess Thetarhythm would maybe make sense given the guest characters but it seemed weird to have non Final Fantasy characters from a Final Fantasy inspired game. The fact that they are not from Thetarhythm makes way more sense.

4chan, same with this stuff. They said that Lucas, Wolf, Snake, Ice Climbers and Chorus Men would be DLC.

I'm kinda disappointed that Dr. Mario and Dark Pit are their own character instead of a palette swap for Mario and Pit. Especially since it's looking like Ice Climbers wont return, which is a shame.

Whoever it is, they're going to be sorry that they leaked the info like this when it's all over. A coworker of mine that happened to be testing at NOA when Brawl was being tested said that the atmosphere was like DEFCON 5 when info leaked for that game. This latest leak makes it sound like Nintendo just went nuclear on the leaker.

Which makes me wonder about the guy. If you work at Nintendo and are in a position to be handling material intended for the ESRB, you have to be aware of the consequences of leaking said information (termination and in all likelihood a lawsuit for blatant violation of the NDA). Leaking information like this is just putting your career at risk, at the very minimum. And there's no benefit to be gained because you're just leaking information that will become common public knowledge in due time. It's the equivalent of shitting on the CEO's desk while typing "FIRST". I cannot fathom a more ridiculous way to get yourself fired from a video game company.

Wiis are region locked. Unless you have homebrew channel you are SOL on Xenoblade.

The North American release was very limited and restricted as a Gamestop exclusive. It's likely not going to come down in price any time soon.

Okay, guess I was wrong. Yeah - sorry USA (and Canada and Southern America), I guess you're just stuck with the shitty online prices. Though I do hear they appear for reasonable prices in store at Gamestops sometimes.

Yeah was able to get a copy in store relatively recently. Way more than a Wii game should be right now but not outrageously marked up.

It's not about the console it's on. It's about the rarity and perceived quality of the title.

I hope the move customizations at least help me come closer to a Ganondorf with a unique moveset. Since Sakurai clearly doesn't want to rock the boat on that.

I'm pretty sure this was in Brawl, me and my friends playing Dairantō Smash Brothers X bet on a Samus match once. Someone said "oh but it is not Zero Suit Samus" and I replied "No, but she has Zero Suit Potential". It was in Brawl but it had none of this trends and match history business. Makes it much more interesting than just betting on whichever character is "better".

Nintendo doesn't like it when you rain on its marketing parade, it seems. I'd rather just have it all out there, every time theres a new smash game, the hype train gets beaten like a dead mule for months.

@hailinel: Is it possible the Nintendo insider didn't leak it himself, but had the videos on a work laptop or something, and his punk ass kid thought it would be cool to put them on YouTube? That was how all those early Xbox One videos leaked, more or less.

It's possible. Though in that case, he shouldn't have let whoever uploaded them even have access to them.
