hey anyone wanna have a few matches? i've really been dieing to play some better people.... since i moved to G1 i cant connect with anyone theres no one in my area i guess... (western canada) and i rarely find decent players in player match. i need to level up i think i've gotten worse lately.

i main ryu but i play around with rog/akuma/rufus... i'm on XBL Dyce168

Thanks, I think. Yeah it was a good match. Every round seemed to be either very close or entirely one-sided. Shame you didin't record. Theres always next time.

Me vs NateD0gg Ltd. Some of you may remember him from that video thread he made a while back asking for criticism regarding his performance using Ken at a tournament. Dude has a legit Ken and I actually enjoy fighting mirrors with him, crazy I know.

@mubress: I agree, generally I hate mirrors with a passion, mostly because I use a character that is used by mashing scrubs who do nothing but mash reversal dp/super/ultra every time you do anything. Nate is like me and plays legit, so it is enjoyable, albeit occasionally frustrating.

@Jeffsekai: I compress them using virtualdub. Using the mpeg 4 codec I can shrink 1.6 gigs worth of video (1 hour of video) to about 550 megs and it still looks ok. Usually the sets are quick and end up being around 800 megs which will shrnk to about 300 megs, I can upload that quickly.

I posted this in the FRXII thread but I doubt any of you go there anymore. So watch it and see me fail. it was recorded by none other than lordofultima.

On a side note, FRXIII was great. Ultima and specialbuddy hung out with the dallas tx 2d group for most of the time. (Both specialbuddy and I are from dallas) We made a lot of poor food choices, played a lot of casual matches, got ocv'ed my marn's team, and we even ocv'ed a team. I'm not sure how ultima and specialbuddy felt about the trip overall, but I'm glad I made the 12 hour drive. PRO TIP: When playing against specialbuddy, always pick honda and you'll win no matter what. He's guaranteed to get mad salty.

Everyone should switch to honda. It takes a lot less effort to do a lot more damage than with other characters. Then we could do honda mirror matches all day. I pick honda to hide my scrubbiness.

@dacrinton: No problem, good games. Towards the end you began to use Abel's pokes much more effectively and it pretty much shut down my kara game. And yeah, your only glaring flaw was not being able to block the cross up tatsus, beyond that you played well. I on the other hand could not for the love of god connect a standing jab after a crouchig short, that was getting really annoying!

Tie Break match in the GB PSN Rage Quit Demon 2 Tournament! between myself and our host Mr Staticfalconar. It was a 3 way tie so I also played VicRattlehead. However, as I have already uploaded the game we played earlier in the tourney and both me and him play like ass in the tie-breaker, I won't bother to upload that one.

This game ends up being the crucial one in the breaker as both me and Static beat Vic. Match is best of 7 sets and best of 3 games in each set.

So prepare to be dazzled by my ability to block right after teleporting. Come for the missed combos, stay for Honda's buttstomp.

lols, yeah I remember that match. Even though it was best of 7 it might was well been best of 5 since only the first 4 games did we have some back and forth action, then i took a ride on the mindfucked train and you can basically see I was out of ideas. Should have lamed it up with blanka or something

This game against my PSN friend jlsjustice kinda sums up why I don't like playing against Blanka.

He doesn't turtle and spam electricity or Blanka balls, he's one of the better Blanka players I've faced. He plays a lot of characters well and I even enjoy getting beat down by his Seth. When I play Blanka though most of what I normally do doesn't apply.

I should play more like I do in round 2 the whole time. A Blanka ball to the face makes you nervous though.

Just to clarify; I don't think Blanka is a bad/lame/cheap character. I just have real problems playing him and therefore hate anyone that uses him :p

@mubress: You played way too passive once you got in on him. You really need to use constant dive kick pressure and then once it hits go into a combo then repeat.

Don't scare, Rufus has the health advantage and a easy to combo into Ultra you can still win even getting hit by an ex up ball every now and then.

El Fuerte Champ Mode Match.

It's really strange playing with fuerte as you can die almost instantly, but so can your opponent so it's really fun. Perfect one round, destroyed the next.
