The ability to fling oneself around an environment gracefully. Wall-running, jumping, massive drops, climbing, and other physical activities are what acrobatics is all about.
Alert is a state a game may enter after the player has been overtly detected by enemies, and often brings increased enemy opposition (in numbers, aggression, etc.) while a cooldown timer or meter appears by which the player can gauge the expiration of Alert.

A boss fight is a culminating challenge that pits the player against one or more enemies representing a greater threat and/or difficulty than those previously faced. These scenarios typically feature unique antagonists.

Characters that are initially portrayed as evil, but eventually turn out to be good or not as serious of a threat. This also includes villains who remain evil the entire game, but contain some sense of moral goodness or ambiguity.
The political thriller is a story, often action-oriented, that tends to revolve around two or more nations struggling to gain power. Outcomes are usually found through military confrontations, covert wars, and back alley negotiating.
Games whose titles consist of a single word.
Using stealth often requires the player to accomplish their objective without being detected by enemies. Methods of detection can vary from game to game, and can be based on an enemy's line of sight, how quiet the player is, or even how the player interacts with the environment.
Like a critical hit, this is a special action invoked from certain attacks in games or caused randomly on attacks by a character's statistic. It causes opponents to lose the ability to attack back for a certain period of time, and usually invokes the hit character to go into a special animation.
Many games that feature a theft mechanic also include a some form of risk or punishment. Other games just let players steal things as if it's a perfectly normal thing to do.
The player character is seen at a distance from a number of different possible perspective angles. There is generally a movable camera but it can also be in a fixed position. It most commonly refers to a viewpoint behind the player character.
You're halfway through the game or more, everything's going great. You've got tons of weapons and crap and BAM! Flash grenade! You wake up later captured, off to either be executed, interrogated, etc. Often, you've lost all of your weapons as well. You sir, have just woken up captured.
