Aeon Calcos, sometimes known as "Lizardman", makes his first appearance in Soul Calibur. He later appeared in Soul Calibur III, and Soul Calibur IV. It should be noted that a different lizardman appeared in Soul Calibur II. His trademark weapons are an axe and a shield.
Algol, the Hero King, is the final boss in the game Soul Calibur IV, and is the creator of Soul Calibur. Algol wields both Soul Edge and Soul calibur . He is also said to hide ten distinct weapons in his body, like a cannon that forms around his hand.
Astaroth is a golem spawn created by the grand priest of the cult Fygul Cestemus. He seeks the Soul Edge for his master.
Cassandra is the sister the great Greek warrior, Sophitia. She has appeared in every game since Soul Calibur II and fights with a sword and shield.

Xianghua is a Chinese Soul Calibur fighter, armed with a nameless magic sword and fighting with an elegant Chinese style that resembles dancing. As of Soul Calibur V, she has been replaced in the roster by her daughter, Chai Leixia.
A number of pieces of Soul Edge animated into a humanoid form, Charade seeks to reunite with the rest of the sword and become whole, and has the power to perfectly copy the weapons and abilities of every other fighter in Soul Calibur II.
Just as Nightmare/Inferno is the living incarnation of the power of Soul Edge, the cursed sword, Elysium is the living incarnation of the power of the spirit blade Soul Calibur.
Heihachi Mishima is a character in the Tekken series. He has appeared in every Tekken game thus far and plays an important role in the central storyline that focuses on a deep-seated blood rivalry in the Mishima family.

A Princess who leads her army into battle, Hildegard von Krone is the protector of the Wolfkrone Kingdom in the Soul Calibur series. She wields a spear and a short sword as her weapons.
Hong Yun-seong is a Korean warrior who made his first appearance in Soul Calibur II. He seeks the power of Soul Edge to protect his country.
Hualin is a busty shopkeeper diva and playable bonus character in Soulcalibur III. She is one of the attendants of the Cepheus Store and wields a magical staff.
Hwang is a Korean martial artist from the Soul series. He has appeared in Soul Blade, Soul Calibur and Soul Calibur III.
Kamikirimusi is a bonus character in Soulcalibur IV designed by guest artist Hirokazu Hisayuki. Given her Japanese garb, her horns, and the spiked club she carries (called a Kanabō) it is thought that she is an "Oni." In Japanese folklore, Oni are demons that could be best approximated to ogres.
A master of the Ling-Sheng Su style of martial arts, Kilik is a major character in Soul Calibur, and wields the bo staff Kali-Yuga in battle. He is likely the biological father of Xianghua's daughter, Leixia.
Necrid is a character in Soul Calibur II.
Once a French aristocrat who was exiled by his family for killing a noble in self-defence, the arrogant Raphael's flashy rapier techniques, not to mention the fact that he has somehow become a vampire, make him one of the most dangerous opponents in the Soul Calibur universe.
Revenant is a skeleton swordsman from SoulCalibur
Despite being a British nobleman, Nathaniel "Rock" Adams fights like a savage, bearing enormous hammers and clubs in combat and wearing the pelts of dangerous animals as his armour. His enormous body was the inspiration for the murderous golem, Astaroth.
Setsuka tries to track down and defeat Nightmare so that she could obtain the evil sword, Soul Edge.
Seung Mina is a Korean warrior who was first featured in Soul Blade, the precursor to the Soul Calibur series. She has been in the series ever since.

Tira is a dangerous lunatic, dedicated to the evil blade Soul Edge and its physical manifestation Nightmare with such intensity that it borders on religious worship. Her razor sharp hoop sword and flock of crow spies are her trademarks, along with her split personalities.
Making her debut in Soul Calibur V, Viola has a magic orb that she makes ranged attacks with, in addition to bladed armor on her fingers.
The mysterious werewolf known only as "Z.W.E.I." is a new character in Soul Calibur V. Fighting with a longsword and an unorthodox method of using it, and a wolf spirit minion named E.I.N. he can summon to aid him in combat, Z.W.E.I. is determined to bring an end to Nightmare.
A mysterious man who has been reincarnated over and over for centuries, retaining his memories each time. Now he seeks to use the power of Soul Edge to finally die and find peace, and uses absolutely ruthless means to accomplish this goal.
