Sombra

Weapons

Sombra's main weapon is an automatic machine pistol (SMG). It's most useful for short-range encounters with a rapid fire rate and generous spread, and features an ammo clip size of 60.

Abilities

Hack

Sombra can hack enemies and health packs for a brief advantage.

A hacked ("silenced") hero will lose access to most of their abilities that require a button press (i.e. Tracer's blink, or Genji's wall climb), and can cancel many abilities that are currently being used (i.e. Reaper's Death Blossom.)

Hacked health packs regenerate faster and will be inaccessible to the enemy team, including the enemy Sombra.

Stealth (Thermoptic Camo)

A temporary cloak that completely camouflages Sombra from enemy players, and grants her a significant movement speed boost while active.

Using her primary weapon, hack or EMP while in stealth will cancel it. She can still be detected at very close ranges, and by vision enhancing abilities, such as Hanzo's Sonic Arrow or Widowmaker's Infra-sight.

Translocator Beacon

A projectile-based teleportation device that Sombra throws to activate. When active, allows Sombra to instantly teleport to its location (this includes when it's in mid-air.)

Enemies can see the placed device, but cannot move or destroy it.

EMP (Ultimate)

Her Ultimate ability - when activated, Sombra unleashes electromagnetic energy in a wide, explosion-like radius, destroying all enemy shields and barriers, and rendering all enemy heroes within the area hacked.

Opportunist (passive)

Sombra is able to detect any critically damaged enemy (health below 50%) through walls.

• The Spanish translation/meaning of "Sombra" is "shadow," or "shade."
