    Overview

Snake Pass is a physics based platformer developed and published by Sumo Digital for PC, Amazon Luna, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Players control a Snake named Noodle as he collects various relics as well as various other collectables scattered around the world. The game could be loosely described as a platformer, as Noodle's quest often has him traversing various platfoms, however as Noodle lacks legs he cannot jump and must instead slither around them.

The game's visual style evokes similar vibes to that of classic Rare games although it is not made by them. As the game came out just a few weeks before Yooka Laylee, a game made by several former Rare employees comparisons have been made between the two games. However as Yooka Laylee is a more traditional platformer this comparison is not entirely fair to either game.
