I don’t think I could play any game for more than 5 minutes with Snactivs on. I can just see them getting so uncomfortable very quickly, or at least getting in the way of a button press and pissing me off. I would definitely not wear a 3D printed version.

Good on Jess for pushing back on her game. It's a very cool little homage with great style and it does more than just what it's expected to do and it was a bummer to have Jeff drag it, especially when it has so much heart.

@the_nubster: Jeff has been in games media for over 26 years. Not every criticism for expectations is a personal attack, nor every choice for UPF a personal hill to die on and be defended. Jeff and Jess had this problem during GOTY also; Jeff didn't like mechanics of Psychonauts 2, and Jess vehemently defended her personal investment in the story. Both were right in their opinions as that's the point of the discussion but HOW things got defensive so quickly is antithetical to the team. That this has happened twice in a short period of time needs to be considered objectively and worked out.

@voidburger I think you would really, truly enjoy bloodborne's setting, even if you don't end up liking the game, the lore is great!

@the_nubster: nah but Jess's antagonistic attitude is a bit of a bummer sometimes imo. Like Jeff only had some points of views to share and it's almost as if she took it personally all the time. Like you can disagree but jess seem to always take it to a personal level, same as she did during GOTY and it's not enjoyable to see or listen to tbh. have disagreements all you want but leave the personal attacks out of it.

Haven't seen the episode yet, but bummer to hear that it supposedly had some bad vibes.

@aeravon : Totally agree with this, I think both Jess and Jeff have valid points both here and during the GOTY but it shouldn't become this antagonistic. The GB crew have had strong disagreements before but it has never felt this personal or antagonistic as the discourse between the two does. Like you can disagree all you want but it doesn't have to become personal sniping without even acknowledging each other's point. like scoffing and sneering doesn't belong. GB is not an let's play channel on YT that has to have the 'tude'.

Honestly this comment alone kinda makes me not want to watch this UPF. This is nothing against either of the mentioned people, but more regarding this attitude of being with person X against person Y and cheering on them for "fighting" back so to say.

That is just not what I come to this site for. People can, and should, absolutely have differing opinions. I have friends I strongly disagree with when it comes to movies, but I will never turn it into to something personal and it just f'king sucks to hear this kinda talk about an UPF episode.

@castiel: yep I mean I really like Jess and I think she brings a good energy in most cases but sometimes it feels like she is taking youtube/ twitch streamer mentality were antagonism sells or something , I don't know really, but it does feel a bit too personal and a bit too much sniping at each other's character instead of the things and that has never been what I have come to this site for.

Are we just gonna gloss over Jason's incredibly wholesome story of funnel cakes/ falling in love with his wife? It warms/ clogs the heart!

Peggle and Peggle Nights are, indeed, available through EA Play in Game Pass (you have to go to the EA play section of PC Game Pass, a little unwieldy). It's on PC for sure, I would assume on console too.

Guys, I think Brad secretly hates Drew. I can tell by looking at their eyes and tortured smiles. I scrubbed through the video looking for conflict and drama, but I couldn't find it immediately. They look professionally unprofessional in everything I saw, so at least it seems the crew got over it way faster than the comment section did. That's ok. I generally support people defending something they like. (I appreciated when Jeff B defended Deathloop from Jess. And when Jess defended Psychonauts and Outer Wilds.)

It's messy, sure, but sometimes it just is what it is. Regardless, appreciate the show and good game picks!

Jason got me to want to play Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! since I have Game Pass only to realize the USB drum that you can get isn't compatible, Win 11 will recognize it but it wont work without a 3rd party controller re-mapper. That seems like such a big oversight.

Hey y'all, I just wanna say that sometimes people have disagreements (or even small tiffs/beefs), and it doesn't mean much of anything! I often forget that not everyone was socialized like I was, in a place that's way more open to small confrontations/arguments. It doesn't mean I hate somebody if I momentarily get frustrated!

Sorry that was stressful for a lot of you. :( It's something I'm aware of and have been trying to work on, so I hope you don't hold it against me!

@voidburger: you have been and will continue to be some of the BEST the site has had to come out of the red venture change over/lockdown. Keep on being you!

@voidburger: I can totally relate to you with this! Happens often to me but I try my best to acknowledge my tone before its misunderstood. At the end of the day, we are all friends here... or maybe its just our New York nature!

Rhythm games aren't dead. In fact if you want to check out a really good one on PC Spin Rhythm XD is amazing. It's still in Early Access but it has a decent amount of tracks and the gameplay is pretty dope. Gives me that DJ Hero feeling, which was one of my favorite rhythm games of all time.

When I worked at Walgreens in the mid 00's there were corn cob pipes behind the counter, but I also worked at a store near several retirement communities. So I'm not sure if that was a locale thing or all stores thing.

Reading this comment thread about tension between you and Jeff and then actually watching the video took me back to playing The Last of Us Part II where I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the Big Thing that was going to anger me so much I'd drop the game and shun Naughty Dog forever...only to eventually find out that Big Thing happened in the first three hours of the game once I'd finished and went back to read the spoilers.

I'm not even sure I noticed an actual argument occurring during this video at all. I feel like the Giant Bomb audience is really primed to see any disagreement with even a hint of personal investment as a rift between the crew, it's a bizarre dynamic I've noticed for years and years. I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you, I remember at one point this audience went a full year or more speculating that Rorie actually hated Dan and vice versa because of the way they interacted during UPFs despite Dan and Jason having the exact same relationship.
