The Nvidia website has some good interactive tech demos back from the 2000's that really shine if you can get them running. Pretty neat comparing that with all the stuff nowadays. Worth an hour or so of streaming fun.

It's always great hearing these and listening to the inside baseball side of the industry. Always fascinating hearing how one can lose morals and what ethics are broken or skirting questionable territory. Probably the closest to a tell-all book we will get. Thanks guys!

This was really great! The duders seemed to be enjoying themselves and I found the topic of conversation pretty interesting!

Speaking from experience, having a copy editor who is not well-versed in your beat or niche can be incredibly helpful. Great to have someone check your jargon and go "What the heck is a 'third person platformer?'" when you want to make sure anyone who comes across your piece can understand it.

(And even for games-only sites, it helps. Y'all gotta be brave to say "4X" without explainin' it at least once!)

Nice to see that there is finally something for us that have been here since the beginning and want something that is more like the old Gamespot/Giant bomb days. How about bringing back more features from back then?

Oh, man. That whole discussion of the review guide and copy editing standards speaks to me as someone who writes and works with copy editors on a frequent basis. It's equal parts nice and extremely frustrating to work with people who have so much obsessive attention to detail about obscure grammatical rules.

this is so great, hotspot is exactly what this site needed. this sort of industry insight, history and personality is absolutely GB's biggest strength and i'd love to see more stuff like this.
