EDIT: Hearing Ben talk about Mass Effect: Andromeda multiplayer and saying it plays a lot like ME3's has made me waaay more excited for that game. Also worth noting: Titanfall 2 doesn't have a Season Pass either and all the bonus content for ME3's multiplayer - maps and classes and such - was free (and supported by the microtransactions on the boxes).

This conversation about The Fast and the Furious is fantastic. I had never made the correlation between those movies and the Saints Row franchise, but it makes perfect sense. It sorta blew my mind.

Haha it's great listening to the speculation about the Switch having watched it last night.

Uhh, are you talking about the giant blockbuster that basically cemented Sony's successful console outing. The one with the fan favorite characters Cloud and Sephiroth? The one that had people screaming every time they pretended to do a remake until eventually they did?

@vinny@alex@danryckert There are in fact entire channels on twitch that are just playing through every game made on specific consoles, TheMexicanRunner is like 10 games away from finishing all the NES games, and Puri_puri is working his way through all the PSX games (though using a gameshark when those games hit the point of "hey grind for 40+ hours")

The Beastcast has discussed the Underworld movies more than any other humans in the history of the world.

This is my first experience with Ben Hanson and boy was it terrific. Always a delight to hear people hilariously smack Dan around (in good fun of course). Great podcast.

@danryckert Time-saving with Reaper's Shadowstep really depends on how far obstacles allow you to teleport - some maps have a suitable within-line-of-sight spot far away as soon as you leave spawn, some you have to walk out a bit, others you can teleport right into the point if the enemies aren't paying attention (or maybe if you're protected by Reinhardt, haven't tested it).

I was listening to an old bombcast from April of 2009 and it was the one after Vinny and the gang went to Wrestlemania in Texas and saw the Fast and Furious movie. :D

I never realized how panicky and shrill Dan can sound until i head Ben's impressions of him, which were just being panicky and shrill sounding.
