I'm slightly confused why are they are saying that it can't be as difficult as the old guitar hero controller was. This new one does have 6 buttons doesn't it? This is a question coming from someone who barely played guitar hero.

The band's clothing line also has this diddy they were selling for 30$
I hate it when stuff I love is co-opted by people who make bad music for profit.

The new guitar button layout looks kind of fun, but after way too much of other guitar games it does look a little bit too easy with only 3 buttons

I love the thumbnail for this video. Heck yes, Blink-182. :) The new Guitar Hero looks kind of bland, the not highway looks very grey and boring. I am excited to try out the new Guitar. I am always up for a new challenge.

Surprise quick looks are the best kind of quick looks.

I'm not the kind of guy who says old music was better and I don't even listen to Rock music, but damn this game has a bad tracklist. If I'm playing a game like Guitar Hero I want to play tracks were the guitar is good in the song like it happened to old GH games, I don't want to play songs from Skrillex or Eminem and so on. I guess they are just trying to go to a newer teen audience with a trakclist full of recent pop tracks played on radio instead of trying to grab the old fans like Rock Band tried to do.

Also, the FMV thing doesn't really work for me, I just want to punch most of that people in the face, specially when it's playing the "bad" videos, none of them is making me try to do better. Personally, I liked the stylized characters of previous games.

I'm not sure what Brad is referring to when he is saying the audience is upset by the poor performance, it looks like they are singing along and pretty into it...

Ugh, try to find an instore demo before you buy this game. It was hot garbage when I played it. Didn't feel clean, the track list is terrible and the microtransactions need to go.

Watching this and the Rock Band QL, it sure jumps out to me, but I can't remember it bothering me when I'd play the game myself. Of course that might be because of the gamevolume being loud enough.

Im a big fan, but DAMN Dan is obnoxious as hell when music talk comes up, he just cant not let his opinion be known.

100 dollars for the game. Small set list if you dont include the TV stuff. You have to pay in game currency to play the songs you want to on the TV, and if you don't have the coins you can buy them with real money or play possibly ad ridden play lists that they decide. Looking at the list of songs, I like the stuff on TV a lot better than the stuff on Live. Imagine that.

I guess I am just getting old. I dont listen to spotify, or any other streaming music. I like to listen to what song I want to, when I want to.

I really like the way they're handling the TV stuff.

@johnymyko: I think its almost a nervous tick with Dan and he cant stop himself, or at least does it more often, where the rest of the guys can talk a little shit and know when to let it go.

The difference is that Jeff and others manage to be funny while bashing on things they don't enjoy, which goes a long way to not coming across as an asshole. Dan is just dismissive and mean with zero humor.

I don't even particularly care about Weezer or any of the other bands Dan rags on/has ragged on in the past, but yeah, as others said, that whole ragging on Weezer thing was just shitty and reeks of "Dan being Dan"—and it gets tiresome sometimes. Like, we get it, Dan, you don't listen to music made after 1985. But Jesus, man. At least Jeff called him out on his shit. And Jeff can be shitty too, but he eventually at least just says something isn't for him. Dan just becomes inflammatory and shitty. And it's not particularly funny or charming. Regardless of whether he's meant to be taken seriously, it's really not particularly hard to not be an asshole about things. He's coming off like a snide prick and that's not cool.

On the actual game: Sometimes that FMV can look fucking bruuuutttaallll, and not in "lol this is dumb and funny" way. The MGMT video is proof of that.

Also sucks that there seems to be a lot of complaints about build quality and callibration fuck-ups. :(

Honestly, this game also just seems kinda... empty. If I wanna get back into the whole plastic instrument thing, I wanna do it with a bunch of friends. I'm not a 15 year-old anymore, so the whole "single player" score attack aspect of Guitar Hero just doesn't appeal to me. I just dunno who wants this game, personally. But that's just me. Doesn't mean it sucks. Just isn't for me.

I like it. Cost me half as much as RB and I never would have bought much dlc anyway. I like just playing whatever comes up and finding new songs I like.

why are they complaining about less buttons? it has one MORE button than normal Guitar Hero/Rock Band.

This looks more interesting than I was expecting. As someone that mostly plays guitar alone, Rock Band 4 has zero appeal to me and I wasnt too optimistic about this but I kind of want to try that new control style.

I find it hilarious how legitimately bent out of shape some of you are getting over what amounts to Dan being dan.

You'd think he'd have said something incredibly racist or offensive from these reactions, not 'X music sucks'
