Compared to the first one (which I did rent from gamefly recently), this doesn't seem worth the price as that previous one seemed best for being on XBLA for half the price of the disc cost. They should have just put this out for $15 as an expansion the other disc based Deathsmiles game. Really not understanding Cave's idea of putting the ages in this & the previous game as it's pretty clear to anyone who's seen people grow up that the people you can play in this game are at least in high school if not getting tons of cosmetic surgery done.
 
Strange that the easiest thing (translating this game) wasn't something in the options.

The 30 Bucks price is just for the idiots that would pay that much. 6 months and this will be 15 dollars. 
 
I picked up the original deathsmiles in box for £20 ($15) and it had a soundtrack cd, the game a think ass manual and a disk with some kind of desktop theme. I do not regret that purchase. Also, the sprites in the original are much much better than crappy low poly models in this new game.

The "you a cop?!" "I aint no cop" part cracked me up. This looks horrible. 30 bucks for a lame short game with not much for options and you cant even understand the horrible story about underage big breasted girls saving/stopping christmas. Id rather overdose on heroin then pay 30 bucks for this.

So many close-minded people in these comments.  Gotta love American culture and the perception that 'cute and silly' is terrible and perverse, and 'violence and murder' is totally great, doubly so if it involves warring against other countries!  Kinda reminds me of that politician dude who said that 'Anybody over 18 playing Animal Crossing is playing it for the wrong reasons', like you can't enjoy harmless fictional silliness without also being some kind of colossal pervert.
 
Then again, this mindframe usually comes from the people who genuinely think that "BUT IT'S JUST WRONG." is a valid and well-thought-out criticism.
