Also, what's the appeal of this game over the 2016 "Attack on Titan" game? So far, it looks like the only gameplay changes are the addition of gore and environmental destruction.

EDIT: Really BAD environmental destruction at that, what with buildings crumbling from the sheer terror of having a Titan die within their general proximity, even though the Titan never actually touches the building.

So, I got kinda into this anime because it was on Netflix, but they only have episodes through the female titan arch. Someone more knowledgable, did they ever make more episodes or a different series that covers the rest? Or is the rest of the sotyr only in the manga? And does the story "end" at all or is it still going?

The elusive quick look ... how I missed you. I can't get into this is the run or xcom or sims just gimme that quick lookmlife.

So far everything I've seen looks EXACTLY like the first game.

Really enjoyed my time with the first game Looks like resupplying is less annoying. The movement/etc felt really good and ended up playing a lot of the first game with my friends even if at its core it is pretty repetitive.

Seems like they've updated the systems a bit, and being able to make your own character is neat. I'm sure this game isn't for most people but I'll be grabbing it.

AoT kinda lost me after the first 8 episodes, after the first big reveal with Erin. I liked it a lot more when it was just humans vs the titans., without all that other bullshit. Shame, cause before episode 7/8 I was really into it.

Jan was messing up that large titan fight quite a bit. You attack his limbs whenever he has a green bar, and you attack his neck whenever he doesn't have a green bar.

I'm not going to argue the game is perfect or anything, but that boss fight is something that legitimately takes one minute.

I'm not going to watch more of this because AoT is kinda dull to me but Jan sounded like a natural for his first (?) non-stream content and I'm looking forward to more in the future :)

@doctordonkey: As someone who has watched season 2 and is up to date with the manga, I wholeheartedly agree. It's still something that I ponder about on occasion. Don't know if it's my fascination with apocalyptic fiction, but what if it was just humans vs titans feels more interesting to me. Or I would settle at least with Eren not surviving, would feel less of an anime trope and a better plot twist.

The anime is pretty great. Probably the only anime I've liked post 2004. The game seems repetitive. I probably wont pick up an Attack on Titan game till the series is done, that way the game can get through the full narrative, or craft a story of their own.

I fell off this series super hard. The manga has been dreadfully bad the last year or so. Curious to see what this game has to offer, though.

Absolutely not! They should be playing the original Attack on Titan tabletop RPG. Anything else is impure garbage.

@thepilgrums Id say you really I MEAN really need to hoop back on. The current story is near its end and Everything I MEAN EVERYTHING has hit its big point. Its probably at the most exciting part in comparision to any show out right now. I understand why you quit but all the stuff you quit for helped make the ending so great.

youd like the new stuff then. later on its less about titans and more nuanced what is war and how it affects the person who thinks their right. It also has less titan fights more reveals and a ton of unpredictable stuff. I dont wanna spoil it but just for fun id read the latest chapter just to see what you missed youll be confused enough that it wont hurt if you decide to finish it.

attack on titan suffers from slow pacing even with limited runs in the animation cause they wait to catch up to the manga. I literally always wait for a season to end and cut out the bull and show my friends a edited 1 hour movie of the material. I was able to edit the entire 25 episodes down this way. Season 2 had half the episodes and i could only edit it down to 2 hours. Take what you will but its way more exciting when you get to the stuff you got to in 8 episodes in 25 minutes. I boiled down the entire first episode to 4 or so minutes. So i understand people who are impatient thinking attack on titan is boring but my friends love it without knowing i paced it up. If i can i will send you the version i made.

I don't know if I'm comfortable with the intro text for the story mode of a giant naked man killing simulator talking about a "gaping hole".

I dont wanna be THAT GUY BBBBUTTT they should only watch the live action japanese only subbed movie 2 parts to get the entire titan mystery spoiled then watch the kiddy spin off highschool series that doesnt matter for the show...then they need to read any books that came out then they can really dive in as true elites and watch the show but only in subbed cause dub is trash and anyone who likes it is lying to themselves cause its bad...also play the online fortnite like attack on titan game on 8 track cassets please not cd cause i dont like the format as the fps dips 3 points once ever year...also end all systems goku please your doing it wrong you need to play the all systems goku game i made in my room first before you can watch dragonball properly. The early anime explains it as the world was taken over by titans and the last of humanity lives in one giant city.

The manga is terrible, i heard the story changes a little bit in the anime though but i haven't watched past the first season. If it's anything like the manga i will pass though.

I like Jan just fine as a human, but I feel he should practice the art of saying nothing while talking a lot before he does more quick looks. There was next to no comedic rapport with Ben.

I thought the first game looked neat, if repetitive. This looks like not a lot has changed (which is expected, really, with whom the developers are, and the fact that it´s a licensed game) and I kinda lost interest quicker into the video.

Jan and Ben seems a nice combo though. Jan did a good job and I look forward to seeing him in more quicklooks.
