I love that you're playing God Hand, but two weeks between each stage stage is a bit much. Three months is a long time for a ten-hour game, even if you're dishing out some great, long episodes. I gotta cream up that boy every week!

(I like coffee, but it's with a similar caveat: I have to pour a bunch of chocolate powder and milk in it to sweeten the deal)

I can dig a shock top - michelada's a no go for me though.

This game made me wonder if Mikami was a fan of Bionic Six. Only other time I've seen a mohawk used as a projectile was from the drummer of the Bandroids in that one episode. You guys are playing this game in wildly inefficient ways that somehow makes for entertaining viewing. Just be prepared to have your asses handed to you in the not too distant future. Thanks again.

This is my favorite premium feature in a while, great duo!

One day Jason will use his heat metre.

Jason has really upped his game in the last months, I enjoy his videos.

Beer mixed with tomato juice IS pretty tasty.

On another note, Jason, you've always got that shoryuken! If you launch a guy(say you charge that charge punch up to maximum on a stunned dude for instance), you hold back and press triangle and Gene is gonna shoryuken him. If you hold forward and press triangle, Gene does a kick that launches him forward.

Because of this feature I just finished my replay of this game the other day.

They need to use more god hand, all that meter going to waste.

I feel like this series is proof that God Hand isn't actually that hard, because if they're making progress barely understanding how the combo system works (let alone all the hidden moves the game doesn't tell you) then pretty much anyone can play through it. It is a valuable service to demystify seemingly difficult games with weird reputations!

@olivaw: to be fair that's also because they're not playing well enough to stay at level 2 difficulty. The dynamic difficulty system was amazing in that way.

Also some parts are a real motherfucker.

It helps that they don't seem to use the dodge (pressing up on the right stick) which adds a TON of meter to your level. I usually bounce between level 2 and level 3 and the game is way harder.

They will have to learn it when it's time to face Devil Hand, though.

It's been a while since I've played this, but I remember the forward dodge being incredibly useful. Like it'll dodge most of the standard attacks enemies throw at you if you just mash on it.

These guys made the classic beginner's mistake when it comes to drinking games by drinking too much for something that happens too often. They were already drinking so much from stomps there was no room for them to come up with anything else haha.

Chain Yanker is pretty good with YMK. Long range pull them, YMK with a front dodge cancel (you won't reposition yourself), then another one, and then you pummel. You get a lot of meter from that.

Always use the godhand when you have it too, else it means you're not gaining anything when you attack.

Guard breaking is really important.

They looked drunk before they even opened those cans.

I can't remember where, but I definitely hit a solid wall with this game that made me give up on it. Hopefully I'll recognize it when they plow through on their holy mission to get popular in Hell!

This game seems super cool! Mechanically, anyway, its humour and sensibilities are decidedly the opposite.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who involuntarily imitates the whistle that plays when you pick up an item.

Loving this Ben & Jason. You can Up dodge lots of the high punch and kick attacks from enemies by flicking the right analog up at the right time, rather than back flipping away. The downside it builds up the DIE meter quicker when dodging long combos.

The big guy with the spike balls for hands not only looked like Bulma's dad, but sounded just like him too.
