There is a calibration setup you can run on windows 10 for the xbone controller, try it if you haven't

It isn't really intuitive and doesn't always tell you what axis you're supposed to move on each step of the setup, but you'll probably figure it out.

Hopefully it'll fix your deadzone issues.

Awesome another Bombcast. I hope this week they only talk about things i like and in great length. If they want to talk about things i dont like please tell me exactly when so that i can skip it and never let those topics anywhere near my precious ears. None of them seem into Battleborn, makes me sad. I've really loved it for the 5 hours I've gotten to play it since launch. Done the first 3 missions co-op and played 5 matches online and it's been a ton of fun. Very different from Overwatch, which is also fan-flipping-tastic.

Does the opening theme sound...kind of...muted or dull to anyone else? It sounds weird.

meh, its not really surprising. bombcast guys tend to have bad opinions about multiplayer games.

True, and trust me I'm not one of those "They hate everything!" guys, I love the site's content but rarely actually agree with them on what is good/bad.

The assumption that any character designer is designing their characters specifically so that people cosplay them is a little silly.
Battleborn doesn't appeal to me in any way though. The writing in particular is absolutely atrocious. It's like when you have that annoying friend of a friend who thinks everything they say is hilarious but it couldn't be farther from the truth.

It's not an indictment on the quality of the game, but watching them play Battleborn on UPF a few weeks ago was an absolute chore it was so boring.

Eh I can see that, but playing it has been great. Jumping between that and the Overwatch Beta, and can't wait for DOOM for the single player next week.

@ntm: Jason has talked the most about it. I actually don't mind them talking about it I just dislike when they're talking around it when trying to avoid spoilers ect. Seems like they talk a lot while saying very little so would rather nothing is said or let the spoilers fly and just talk about stuff.

For anyone who isn't convinced about WW1 and horse combat, just look at my profile picture.

I think a ww1 game could work pretty well. People have this impression of a war that only involved people sitting in trenches getting blown up by artillery shells, but there was much more than that - there were significant portions of the war dominated by rapid movement and battles of maneuver (also the vast majority of casualties in ww2 were still caused by artillery, things didn't change that much). Add some kind of condemned-style melee combat and you can experience the fun of diving into a gas-filled redoubt and clearing it out with sawed off shotguns, submachine guns, and bashing dudes heads in with shovels and steel clubs.

I still think it says way more about Nintendo they getting out of e3 than the actual show. Jeff is thinking as if Nintendo was this forward thinking company that when in reality I will say they explination of having nothing to show. Jeff also tends to forget that showings, like EA this past years, were mostly abysmal to begin with so speaks way more in the lack of confidence this company has in their products

I'm in the complete opposite camp as Dan. I'm all for all of the modern military games of the last generation slowly morphing into sci-fi arena shooters like they've been doing.

Nintendo said the Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem mobile games are actual games this time, unlike Miitomo.

Also Pocket Card Jockey is apparently coming to mobile.
