I don't get Jeff. For people who usually watch the WWE, this year's Mania was pretty much as good as it gets; which hey...it wasn't perfect, but as someone who likes wrestling we take what we can get with these things.

If THAT event didn't do it for him at all, I just don't know why he bothers keeping up with it. He just seems to absolutely hate every aspect of it, and every time the topic comes up he just drags everything down with the incessant negativity; which is usually aimed at the things they actually get right.

Not that it's my place to tell him what to do with his time, but...why would you keep watching? It it just curiosity? Because the Attitude Era isn't coming back, and I'm sure he knows this.

A bit sad they are still not at "that" part in Bloodborne. Really wanted to hear their non-spoilery reaction. But there's always next week! At least it's exciting that they still don't know :) ( Tho they could still be disappointed, that stuff is hit or miss depending on how much optional content they play)

Man, I really wish they would keep all the wrestling talk out of the Bombcast, at least the vast majority of it.

me and jeff have the exact same feelings on wrestling, its uncanny.

Nah, it's pretty minor. Most of us are alright with it.

@engineno9: I don't like wrestling, but I like that they discuss what they're interested in. Helps keep things fresh without feeling fake.

@spiderjerusalem: I guess some people just have more of a cynical or pessimistic mind about things? And maybe talking about it out loud for the podcast make it sound worse than how he feels about it in his head.

Also, a few weeks back I got Darick Robertson's autograph. He was nice. Saw him with his wife and kids too.

Cool they are doing the whole live commentary on the e3 press conferences again, the EA one last year was the funniest specially with the smoke at the end.

Based on how Jeff described watching wrestling I've come to a conclusion. WWE=Anime.

I thought I accidentally clicked on the new Powerbombcast. Get that shite off the bombcast, please.

There are long running dramas that are practically the same thing disguised for different audiences.

• Soap operas = women
• Wrestling = stereotypical Men
• Anime = "geeks"

All equally ridiculous.

GTA V, coming on PC in 2 weeks is great, but still no Red Dead Redemption port is pretty lame. Welp, at least Witcher 3 looks like it will be a more beautiful RDR.

I quit Puzzle and Dragons and ended up playing the Japanese Puyo Puyo Quest, which is a "clone" of it. Apparently it makes SEGA over 500 million yen monthly (Over 4 million dollars). No wonder console development is being abandoned.

This early opinion on Bloodborne is so naive. They definitely have no idea what's coming. Now I can't wait for the next week podcast.

I don't know that works. I mean, there's anime and there's... you know, "anime". There's anime as Japanese TV and movies that happen to be animated, and in that list there's a bunch of stuff that is just movies and TV and works as well or as poorly as any other TV show or movie.

Then there's, you know, "anime". What people say when they derisively say "anime", which is almost a genre unto itself, or rather a few genres. Creepy fetish weirdness or long running action shows for obsessive teenagers.

Wrestling and soaps are wrestling and soaps and I can't stand either ever. There's never a time when you can claim either of those happen to also be an award winning movie or a really solid TV drama. I don't feel "it's Japanese and animated" automatically slots alongside those.
