I really am going to need a lot more details about this game because I'm pretty worried about the game if that was supposed to get me hyped for the franchise's return to the current game hardware generation.

Aside from the wider character and gun selection I can't help but feel like that game wouldn't look out of place coming out on 360/PS3 hardware years ago.

Huh, I wonder why that is. I guess it makes sense for some compression types that uses keyframes followed by frames that only contain the data for what changed compared to the previous one which I can imagine is hard to do in reverse order, but all video codecs don't do that, right?

You can frame-step backwards in VLC by using a better video player. Seriously, VLC is awful, and there are so many better options these days

It's definitely better to have never dabbed at all.
