I’m going to edit my post, because 1. I think a lot of people are misreading my post. 2. because there is uncalled for harassment.

Edit: So UPF is slowly moving farther and farther away from video games on the show and becoming more of just shooting the breeze? I'm sorry but devoting about 20 mins to a bad joke slide show, then another 15 at the end to just talk about nothing much (not including the first 15 minutes) is not enjoyable to watch for me at all. If this was my first UPF, I'd immediately ask for a refund.

I really want to enjoy Giant Bomb stuff, but the way the site is changing the focus to less and less about video games is really making me consider just cancelling my subscription and going somewhere else.

For those who continue to say “the site is just not for you” then who is it for? because it certainly was back when I started listening every week in 2012. As someone who grew up with the original NES back in 1985 as their first console, a site geared towards covering more than just the newest AAA releases is exactly what I want. I’m not opposed to some goofiness but half of UPF not involving gaming at all, and starting off with diarrhea talk is really not what I expect.

I live in Florida. Everything that was said about Florida was not wrong. Driving in this state blows, but it isn't our fault! All the snow birds comes down here and bring their state's terrible driving habits.

@themadman007: If only you could watch or hear them talk about video games some where else on the site, but unfortunately UPF if the only place for that.

If Dave’s top 10 list at the end of the years isnt a top 10 of his top 10s this year I’ll be dispointed.

@themadman007: Both of the things you mentioned are actually what I like about UPF and wish there was more of. UPF has always been at its best when they're goofing off and going on weird tangents.

There is so much epic Premium content that comes out over the year. UPF isn't the only show they do so I would just recommend either watching other videos they do or just skipping through UPF to get to the gaming parts. If I'm being honest, there are some segments of UPF that do bore me a bit but this is rare and usually I enjoy this show every week. Each to there own though I suppose.

For a brief Dead Cells history lesson: the reason Ben probably remembers the cannon dudes hitting so hard was because before the first big rebalance the game almost required you to build for damage reduction for the later stages (of which one of the most consistent sources were the shields, which Ben said he didn't like using). Thankfully the rebalance made a wide variety of playstyles much more viable - I still love shields but I'll happily do a run without them now. Their updates and community feedback ever since release has been top-notch.

@themadman007: Maybe UPF just isn't the show for you. It's "unprofessional" for a reason; they play some weird, old, or niche games here and there but for the most part it's just a backdrop for some casual end-of-week chatter and fun times. If you're only here to watch them play games (both old and new) then almost every other show on the site caters to that. It's totally cool if it's not your thing, but most of us are here for the goofs.

Hey, do we know why Rorie’s been wearing Lowcaster shirts a ton lately? I like the band a lot. Is he just a fan, or is he friends/family with someone in or close to the band?

What do you mean by "the way the site is heading"? UPF has literally always been like this. Are you new?

@aproposshadows: what a kind and rational response to my comment. I’m assuming you missed that fact that I said that it was 15 minutes and the beginning and 35 minutes at the end, so a full 50 mins, or almost half of the entire 1 hour and 58 minute runtime. Thank you for making this community fun to post in and not overreacting a comment to something we pay money for.

@themadman007: You could play a game while Dave talks so you can have your video games. Or watch something else. There was an hour and half of video games before Dave showed up also. Some times it's more fun to hear them talk about other things than video games.

@themadman007: You say I'm over reacting even though you literally said that video games are dying and counted every minute without video games being played. There's been plenty of upfs that haven't had video games for a few segments.

@wheels1993: i run a 3-4 man coverage defense.

Pre-snap, I make the following adjustments...

- Rush everyone in the box (i think that's right on left stick and down on right stick)

- QB contain (LB, RB)

- Spread OLBs out (left on dpad, up on dpad)

- Pinch DL (right on dpad, down on dpad

Then use your FS to follow the RB. Being able to stop the run is huge this year and these adjustments made a big difference for me.
