Created through the mimicking abilities of the X parasite, the SA-X is the main antagonist of Metroid Fusion, a duplicate of Samus Aran wearing a Power Suit at the full power-level she reached at the end of Super Metroid, now hunting a near-powerless Samus throughout an abandoned space station.

Samus Aran is the protagonist of the Metroid series. As a bounty hunter, she uses her armored power suit to hunt space pirates and other dangerous forces. She frequently crosses paths with dangerous creatures called Metroids in her adventures.
