    Overview

    Samurai Shodown! 2 is the sequel to Samurai Shodown!, which was released for the original Neo Geo Pocket. Its cast is made up of characters from Samurai Shodown 64: Warriors Rage, but are modeled in a 2D super-deformed/"chibi" style.

    As a pre-order bonus for Samurai Shodown (2019) on the Switch, a downloadable copy of Samurai Shodown! 2 was ported by Digital Eclipse. However, if players pre-ordered the Limited Shockbox Edition of the game from French publisher Pix 'n Love, Samurai Shodown! 2 was included as a bonus on its own cartridge, complete with its own case as well. A widespread digital release was made available later on August 7, 2020.
