Saigon, (known as Ho Chi Minh City), is a populous city in Vietnam that surrounds the Saigon River.
Saigon was a capital city of Vietnam, that was founded in 1623 after it was ruled by Khmer Empire, then in 1862, the government of Vietnam formed a treaty with France before adding more architectures.
1949, former emperor, Bao Dai, made Saigon to become a capital state of Vietnam. In 1954, the government seperated from Laos and Cambodia by the Geneva Conference with Ho Chi Minh for half of the century.
It‘s well known for well-preserved and vibrant metropolis. It’s varied cultural institutions, which includes, French colonial architectures, historical landmarks, walking streets, museums and galleries, attracts over 8 million international visitors each year.
