    The Runaway series is comprised of traditional point-and-click adventure games. The backgrounds are 2D, while the characters are 3D done with cel-shaded animation. The games follows the exploits of Brian Basco and Gina Timmins as they take on the mob, rogue military types, and a mental instution.

    Several characters make recurring appearances, particularly from the first to second game.
