Thinking of picking it up, was wondering if I'd get anything more than the single player out of it at this point.

yep, plenty of people still play it.

its worth it just for single player

gave up on the multiplayer because i was getting my arse handed to me Counter Strike style... lol! It's fun! It's just that noobs have less of a chance against experienced players than COD4.

its very very hard at first, even if you play through the single player first.

its very intense online (ESPECIALLY IF ITS ONE-SHOT KILLS)

its kinda sucks that all you see is wierd matches lately. like people playin a no shooting match just hitting each other (like a knife match in cod4) or everyone using one-shot kills. or people using obnoxious amount of health and every gun already in your aresenal.
