    I got hit with a weird black pillar streak shooting out of Leon's neck hitting the sky/ceiling

    Tilting the camera to front view character facing the screen

    at an angle would produce the glitch in question

    Which I believe is know as "clipping" ?

    Was on the 2nd level of the game i.e. the level from the demo

    Platform PlayStation 3 PS3

    The same thing started happening in all of my games before my PS3 got the YLOD.
